Decathlon Ghana has offered a massive support to this year’s Accra Inter-City Marathon scheduled for Saturday, September 21, at the Accra Stadium.
Decathlon Ghana would give sports shoes and presents to a few chosen race winners following the event, as part of their sponsorship.

Decathlon is the leading French sports retailer with over 40 years with over 40 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and retail of sporting goods in over 50 countries worldwide
Additionally, they would assist the event’s organisers by providing a branded start arc and location for all pre-event activities, including press conferences and sporting displays.
At the race’s finish line, there would also be displays of more athletic goods like darts and table tennis, among others.
The biggest sports retailer in Ghana was thanked in a statement released by Medivents Consult, the race’s promoters.
The statement said the organisers are thrilled about the support from the sports company, Decathlon Ghana.
“This is a perfect collaboration, as sports event organisers it’s always a pleasure to have partners like you.”
An annual road race, the Accra Inter-City Homowo Marathon is supported by the Ga Traditional Council (GTC) and organised by Medivents Consult.

The third edition of the event is anticipated to draw over 2,000 competitors.
