Vincent Torgah triumphed at the 2024 West Coast PGA Championship held at Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono. Despite challenging weather conditions with strong winds and rain, Torgah showcased his skill, finishing with scores of 71, 69, and 71 to secure the title.
The three-day event, starting on August 21, featured fifty golfers, including regular professionals, seniors, and ladies. Torgah faced fierce competition from top golfers like Alfred Kwame, E.K. Owusu, and Francis Torgah but maintained his consistency to clinch his third series win, ahead of the main event in November.

After receiving his winner’s cheque, Torgah acknowledged the tournament’s difficulty, citing the challenging course and weather. He expressed confidence in building on this performance for the upcoming PGA playoffs.
Alfred Kwame finished second with scores of 71, 71, and 72, while E.K. Owusu took third with a total of 216. In the senior category, Emos Korblah emerged victorious with a score of 147, while Jessica Tei topped the Ladies category, outplaying competitors Mercy Werner and Felicity Gyeabour.
