A devastating fire swept through Zongo Lane, near Rawlings Park in the Greater Accra Region, destroying shops and items. The fire began at a small shop and quickly spread, engulfing nearby shops and sending thick black smoke into the air.
Firefighters arrived promptly and battled the blaze, eventually bringing it under control after a prolonged effort.
The full extent of the damage became apparent once the smoke cleared, with several shops destroyed and items such as clothing, electronics, and more reduced to ruins.
