Suspected lynching incident shocks Kasoa walantu community

A shocking discovery was made at Kasoa Walantu Junction in the Awutu Senya East district of the Central Region, where a man in his late 30s was found dead. The unidentified man’s body, which bore multiple cutlass wounds, was found early Saturday morning, suggesting he may have been killed at a different location before being left at the junction.

Local Assemblyman Hon. Robert Arthur has stated that the man was not recognized by residents, but reports suggest he lived at Liberia Camp. In light of this incident and a general uptick in crime, Hon. Arthur is calling for increased security measures in the area. The Kasoa Police have been notified, and the man’s body has since been transported to the mortuary.
