The Electricity of Company Ghana (ECG) has advised the general public, especially customers who use the MBH prepaid meters to purchase enough credit to sustain them throughout this weekend.
ECG said this measure is necessary because the company plans to embark on an emergency maintenance exercise on its MBH Server.

The maintenance exercise is expected to start 11pm tomorrow, September 20, 2024 and run throughout the weekend to end on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 11pm.
The main parts of the country to be affected by this are Tema, Accra West and the Eastern regions.
This was disclosed in a statement released by ECG on Wednesday, September 19, 2024.
“All MBH customers are therefore being advised to purchase enough credit that will last for the period of the downtime.
“ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise as a result of this exercise,” the statement concluded.
