Ofori admitted in his statement that Kotei gave him around 40 meters to sell in November and December 2022. Kotei and Ofori, however, have both pleaded not guilty to these charges.
The case is being heard at the Accra Circuit Court, under the supervision of Samuel Bright Acquah. Despite their pleas, the court has decided to grant them bail. The bail amount is set at GHS20,000 each, and they are required to provide two sureties who are Ghanaians as part of the bail conditions.
