Tamale Future Stars have made headlines with the signing of Ghanaian teenage sensation Sule Rahman from Tamale Zaytuna on transfer deadline day. The highly-rated 18-year-old forward penned a professional contract with the club shortly after celebrating his birthday earlier this month.
Sule’s signing came as a surprise to many, as the youngster was on the verge of joining Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak. However, Tamale Future Stars swooped in with a reported €20,000 deal and presented a more compelling long-term project for his development, sealing the move.

Currently, Sule is one of the standout players in the ongoing Northern Regional Division Two League. He leads the league with 13 goals, 8 assists, and 6 Man of the Match awards, making him a pivotal figure for his former club, Tamale Zaytuna. Renowned for his electrifying dribbling, pace, and one-on-one ability, Sule is a versatile attacker who excels in any position across the forward line. His proficiency with both feet, precise shooting, and dead-ball expertise have earned him a reputation as one of the most complete young attackers in the country.
Sule’s exploits have attracted attention far beyond the Division Two League. Accra Lions, a Ghana Premier League side, dispatched scouts to track his performances throughout the season. Additionally, CAF Champions League heavyweights Mamelodi Sundowns and Raja Casablanca expressed interest in the teenager last year. Internationally, Juventus Ghana scout Kwadwo Asamoah and Chelsea’s African scout Achirou Ismahila have both described Sulemana as a “generational talent.”
One of Sule’s career highlights came in 2024 when he was selected as one of the few lower-tier players to participate in the prestigious All-Star Festival. In this event, a team of select players faced off against Ghana’s national team players, providing him a platform to showcase his talent at a higher level.
Tamale Future Stars now hope to capitalize on Sule Rahman abilities as they aim to strengthen their squad and make their mark in Ghanaian football. The youngster’s arrival is expected to inject flair, creativity, and firepower into their attack, solidifying his reputation as one of Ghana’s brightest footballing prospects.
