Two men, Kingsford Adjetey and Kofi Issah, were arraigned in the Adentan Circuit Court for allegedly scamming a woman out of GHC16,000 worth of frozen foods. They denied the charges. They were apprehended when they attempted a similar scam. Their next court date is December 12.

Anita Owusu, a journalist from East Legon, was the victim. She was selling frozen foods on Jiji. On October 23, 2023, a man named Philip made a large order and had Adjetey and Issah collect part of it. The rest was to be delivered to a location for payment. Philip is still on the run.
