Ghanaian journalist, Komla Adom, who recently won the Human Rights Journalist of the Year award at the West Africa Media Excellence Awards (WAMECA 23), has landed a job with the BBC News Pidgin service.
Komla Adom announced his new appointment as a senior journalist with the World Service’s pidgin network in a personal statement he posted on social media on Monday.

In his new role, Komla would be responsible for “reporting on happenings in Ghana to the service’s audiences”.
The multiple award-winning journalist wrote in a statement, “It is a new journey I begin with excitement and I know there are already high expectations of me”.
