In a recent case presided over by Christiana Cann at the Circuit Court in Accra, a teacher found guilty of defiling a 15-year-old pupil in 2019 has been sentenced to 12 years imprisonment. As reported by UTV Ghana, the teacher, Felix Kube, took advantage of the young girl’s trust during a visit to her home to install software on her new laptop.

The report details the event, stating that after installing the required software, Kube chose to stay longer at the girl’s home and subsequently defiled her. The girl’s father discovered the incident when he noticed the change in his daughter’s attire and the presence of used tissues on the floor. Despite the girl’s initial silence, her father pressed on until the truth was revealed.
