Fatawu Issahaku’s red card spurs 3-match ban in Leicester’s 3-1 loss to Coventry

Ghanaian teenager Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was shown a straight red card during Leicester City’s 3-1 defeat to Coventry in the English Championship.

In the 45th minute, Issahaku mistimed a slide tackle, prompting officials to deem it a dangerous foul.

After being sent off against Coventry City, Fatawu Issahaku will be unavailable until February 10th as he serves a 3-match suspension.

The youngster chose not to join the Black Stars Squad for the AFCON, opting to stay at Leicester City to secure a permanent transfer after reaching a threshold of games.
