Fracht FWO Polska, a Polish logistics firm, has proudly announced the initiation of a project to deliver a new railway set to the Ghana Railway Company Limited, manufactured by PESA Bydgoszcz. This project signifies a major advancement in Ghana’s rail infrastructure, introducing eco-friendly trains to the continent for the very first time.

The train, tailored for Ghana’s railway needs and assembled in Poland, was recently presented to the Ghanaian authorities in a ceremony. Designed to ply the new Tema-Mpakadan standard-gauge railway, it will connect the Tema Seaport to the Mpakadan River Port. Boasting the latest European standards for low emissions with Stage V engines, the train embodies a leap towards sustainable transportation. After beginning its journey by sea, the train will be transported to the Tema port in Ghana, showcasing Fracht FWO’s commitment to efficient and safe global transport logistics.
