Ghana’s bid for a rebound after their recent loss to Nigeria hit a snag as they settled for a draw against Uganda in another international friendly at the Grande Stade Marrakech in Morocco.

Otto Addo, back as head coach of the Black Stars, is still pursuing his first win following the 2-2 tie with the Cranes, who twice equalized on Tuesday.

Addo made five changes to the squad, giving full debuts to Ebenezer Annan and Francis Abu, while Joseph Wollacott took over in goal.

Jerome Opoku gave Ghana an early lead with a header from a corner by captain Jordan Ayew. However, Uganda leveled from the spot after a foul by Ebenezer Annan, converted by Steven Dese Mukwala. Jordan restored Ghana’s lead from a penalty before Uganda equalized again through Muhammad Shaban.

Ghana ended with ten men after Mohammed Salisu’s red card.
The winless streak for the Black Stars now stretches to seven games, with upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic in June.
