In a shocking incident at Asabia Electoral Area within Sunyani West district, a taxi driver in his 20s was tragically found deceased in a bush. The victim, identified as Nana Yaw, was discovered on a cassava farm, showing signs of a violent encounter. The local radio station, Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, covered the grim discovery, with Brother Kwame reporting that the event has sparked widespread alarm among the community.

Brother Kwame detailed that the driver, a familiar face in the Sunyani area, encountered foul play after his passengers demanded to be taken to an unplanned destination. This led to a dispute and subsequent fatal assault. The driver’s body was later found by a farmer who alerted the authorities. The police are now urging the public to be on the lookout for Nana Yaw’s missing taxi, a vehicle with the registration BA 839-22 and the phrase ‘Not By Might’ on it, and to report any sightings to the nearest police station.
