FIFA President Gianni Infantino held a significant meeting with Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku at the FIFA Offices in Paris, France as reported by ghanafa. Invited by Infantino, the two discussed the development of football in Ghana and across Africa.

Infantino warmly welcomed Simeon-Okraku, who later expressed his gratitude and highlighted the alignment between FIFA’s vision and that of the Ghana FA. Simeon-Okraku praised FIFA’s support, particularly through the FIFA Forward programme, and outlined the progress made in Ghanaian football since 2019, including the revival of competitions and improved national team performances.
He emphasized the need to build on these achievements and acknowledged the ongoing support from FIFA officials in Senegal. The meeting was seen as a boost for Ghanaian football, reinforcing efforts to elevate the sport in the country.
