Popular Ghanaian dancer Incredible Zigi is getting ready to make his eagerly awaited return to Russia in September after his last trip there in 2018.
The tour, which is organised by Benny Blaqk, Lacabana Africa, a Pan-African Dance & Night Club in Moscow, and Sista Akos Music, will include workshops in both Moscow and St. Petersburg.
It would be an opportunity for Russian fans to learn Azonto and Afro Fusion dance forms directly from the expert.
Afrobeats and Azonto dance, as distinctive as Incredible Zigi’s, are becoming increasingly popular in Russia, and the tour is a response to their requests.

In a recent interview, co-organiser of the tour, Sister Akos declared her excitement about the tour saying: “We’ve been waiting six years for him. Incredible Zigi is coming to us all the way from Ghana to teach Azonto and Afro Fusion workshops.”
Incredible Zigi is well-known for being one of the most sought-after Afro dancers in the world and for effectively introducing audiences outside of Africa to African dance tradition.
A generational change maker on the continent’s dance scene, he has gained reputation for his lively street style, which is steeped in Ghanaian culture.
The dancer has previously toured Rwanda, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
