A male student at the O’Reilly Senior High School (SHS) in Teshie, Accra has been captured on video brandishing a machete tucked under his school uniform with many other students standby.
He was shouting “try me and see” as other students hail and cheer him on in the now viral video.
The disturbing footage as left many people worried with some online asking what exactly is going on at the high school.
Many have raised concerns about the lack of discipline in the school, urging school authorities to act quickly before the situations get worse.
Others also blamed the lack of discipline on parents, stating that they have failed to instill good moral values in their children.
This disturbing video comes barely a week after a student was reportedly stabbed to death by a colleague over an argument on whose father was richer at the same school.
The General Arts Student, Edward Borketey Sackey unfortunately lost his life last week when one Visual Arts student, identified as Godwin stabbed him.
The case was reported to the police station and trial has begun.
Godwin was remanded into police custody for two weeks by the La District Court at the end of today’s proceedings.

The case has been to Thursday, September 19, 2024, to allow the police investigate well into the arguments that led to Edward Borketey Sackey’s death.
