Asamoah Gyan, the former captain of the Black Stars, has responded to the recent developments in his divorce settlement with ex-wife Gifty Gyan.
After a three-year legal battle, the divorce proceedings between the Ghanaian footballer and his former spouse were concluded on October 31, 2023.
In the court’s ruling, Gyan, who had previously raised questions about the paternity of their three children, has been directed to provide a monthly stipend of GHc 25,000 to his ex-wife. This stipend does not cover school fees, medical and dental expenses, and travel-related costs.
Additionally, Gifty has been awarded Gyan’s properties, including a house in the UK and another in Ghana. One of Gyan’s businesses, a gas station in Prampram, along with a BMW car, has been transferred to Gifty.
