Sheriff Quaye claimed his title in 2021 with a knockout against Tanzanian Emmanuel Amos and has since defended it three times. Haruna Osumanu secured his heavyweight belt by defeating Nigerian Idris Affini with a sixth-round technical knockout. John Laryea, a two-time WBO Africa champion, first won his title by stopping Namibia’s Sebastianus Nataneal. Jacob Laryea, ranked 17th globally, defeated Richmond Djarbeng to become Super Welterweight champion. Faisal Abubakar won his title by beating Uganda’s Latibu Muwonge in 2024 and has defended it once. Daniel Gorsh claimed his bantamweight title by defeating Benin’s Ghislain Vodounheesi.

Four of these champions train at Bronx Boxing Gym under Coach Carl Lokko. Lokko attributes their success to discipline, determination, and unity.
