A man has been arrested for allegedly insulting a popular pastor in Ghana.

The unnamed man was filmed crying in handcuffs and sandwiched by two men, one in a police uniform, in the back seat of a car.

While being taken to the police station, the middle-aged man sobs and pleads for forgiveness after being arrested for allegedly raining insults on, the founder and general overseer of Believers Worship Center, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.

“I beg you; I’m pleading with you in God’s name. Pastor Adom Kyei, I wouldn’t do that again, Papa, I beg you, it won’t happen again. I won’t say it again, I won’t say anything bad about you again. Please forgive me for I have sinned,” he continued to plead amid tears.

The man, who is reportedly also a pastor, was on television questioning how genuine some famous pastors in the country, including Adom Kyei, were.

He made some serious allegations, in particular against the “Philadelphia Movement” leader, questioning the effectiveness of the things he sells in his church.

“I’m putting my life on the line, the Police and Soldiers should sign. The things Adom Kyei sells… Ghanaians should go and retrieve a dead body, let’s go and retrieve a dead body from the mortuary. Let me apply the name Jesus and let Adom Kyei apply the things he sells.

“Arrest me if the dead don’t wake up,” the earlier video shows the man making these damning allegations and throwing a challenge to the renowned pastor.
