Blessing Osei Manu, a young schoolgirl who had been missing for nearly a week, was discovered abandoned on the streets of Kasoa.
She was last seen on Saturday, October 26, 2024, while running errands near the Kasoa overhead.
When she did not come home, her family reported to the the police, who began an investigations into how she went missing.
There was no update on her whereabouts for five days.
However, early on Thursday morning, a bystander in Kasoa found a young girl lying on the side of the road.
The family recognized her as their missing daughter after the good Samaritan promptly informed them of her weak and confused condition.
Her family claims that Blessing was detained against her will and may have been coerced into giving birth before being set free.
They believe that pressure to release her may have come from the recent public attention given to her disappearance.

As authorities start their investigation, Blessing is presently undergoing medical checks.
