The management of Accra High School has acknowledged receipt of over 2400 tablets from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ghana Education Service (GES).
This initiative falls under the government’s ‘One-Student-One-Tablet’ policy, aimed at providing teaching and learning systems, digital learning content, and electronic devices to all Senior High and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools nationwide.
Speaking at the 101st Founder’s Day Anniversary of Accra High School, Madam Evelyn Nabia, the Headmistress, emphasized the need for this declaration to clarify reports suggesting that the school had not received the promised equipment from the Ministry.

She added that students would be able to use the tablets starting next year after the teachers receive training on the learning modules on these devices to properly instruct students on their use.
