IMFEST was conceived as a response to the rapidly growing immersive technology ecosystem, aiming to empower Africa’s youth, tackle climate change, and connect global innovators to shape a sustainable future.

With a focus on uplifting Africa’s position in the global tech space, IMFEST seeks to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and investment opportunities, addressing significant global challenges such as healthcare, education, agriculture, and infrastructure.

Speaking about the vision behind IMFEST, Roger Tang, Founder of IMFEST Foundation, said: “IMFEST is not just about tech; it’s about driving real-world solutions that positively impact lives and communities. By fostering innovation, we aim to build a bridge between Africa and the global tech ecosystem, empowering youth, addressing climate change, and creating a sustainable future through immersive technologies.”
