With Accra now a renowned destination for Christmas celebrations worldwide, beach goers have never felt left out of the festive euphoria as numerous events are staged at the various beaches across the capital.
But this year’s festive period might just be the best experience for beach goers.
“Culture Beach Jam,” an intimate and immersive beach music series, has just been launched by AfroFuture, formerly known as Afrochella – a global cultural entertainment platform dedicated to celebrating the diverse culture and work of the diaspora through festivals, live performances, interactive activities, and community engagement.

The “Culture Beach Jam” concert series will take place on December 28 and 29, 2024, at Accra Polo Beach, accommodating up to 8,000 attendees.
With its unique art installations, avant-garde music, colourful fashion shows, and a wide range of food sellers, the event is sure to be an amazing experience that honours the diversity of African culture.
In a statement, the organisers said “the legendary AfroFuture Festival will return in 2025.”
“During this period, AfroFuture will embark on an exciting project with El Wak Stadium to revitalize the event space by updating the grounds.”

It added that the festival is extending its boundaries beyond the shores of Ghana, with a journey from Côte D’Ivoire to Senegal, Rwanda to South Africa, Morocco to Egypt, set to commence.
“To kick off the year in style, AfroFuture will be hosting a series of events in Cape Town, South Africa, from January 3-7, 2025,” the statement concluded.
