Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu recently completed a transfer to French Ligue 1 team Stade Rennais for a reported fee of €11 million, inclusive of bonuses. The news, shared by @SaberDesfa, reveals that Seidu, who previously played for Clermont Foot, made the move during the African Cup of Nations.

Having initially joined Clermont Foot in 2020, the right-back amassed an impressive 99 appearances for the club. Seidu’s professional journey now takes him to Stade Rennais, where he is poised to contribute to their defensive lineup.
Despite his recent club transition, Seidu remains committed to representing the Ghana national team at the ongoing African Cup of Nations. While he hasn’t featured in a match for Ghana in the tournament thus far, his presence adds defensive strength to the team’s roster.
