Despite dominating possession from the onset, Ghana struggled to convert chances into goals. Meanwhile, Congo initially posed a threat but later resorted to defensive tactics, thwarting Ghana’s attacking efforts.
The game witnessed Ghana’s relentless offensive pushes, including six offsides in the dying minutes. However, neither team managed to break the deadlock, leading to a goalless stalemate after 90+5 minutes.
