Ghanaian defender Baba Abdul Rahman has secured the Greek Super League title with PAOK Thessaloniki on the final day of the season.
The 29-year-old played a pivotal role throughout the season, finishing as the defender with the most goal contributions. PAOK triumphed over major rivals Olympiakos and Panathinaikos to clinch the championship.
Rahman played the full match as PAOK defeated ARIS on Sunday. Brandon gave the visitors an early lead on the half-hour mark, but ARIS equalized shortly after halftime through Moron Garcia. Taison secured the victory with a decisive goal at the hour mark, ensuring PAOK’s championship win.
Rahman concluded the season with five goals and three assists, marking his best offensive performance since moving to Europe.
The former Augsburg defender rejoined the Greek league after his tenure in England with Chelsea.
Reports from England suggest that Rahman might return to the Premier League, with Brentford showing interest in signing the experienced left-back.
