The La Traditional Council (LTC) has finally announced that the annual ban on noise-making for the Homowo festival will take place from August 5 to August 30, 2024.
The ban follows the beginning of the annual Homowo festival in the Greater Accra Region.
The Council has therefore sent reminders to residents in areas like the main La township, Labone, Burma Camp, Wireless, Cantonments, South La Estates, Tse Addo and many others to follow the directive.
Also businesses, hotels, restaurants, shops, churches and pubs within the La Traditional Area are all expected to follow the directive during the 25 days period.
