The Black Princesses secured a thrilling comeback victory against Tanzania, advancing to the African Games women’s football tournament semifinals.
Despite Tanzania taking an early lead with a goal from Hasnath Ubamba in the 23rd minute, Ghana fought back strongly. Tracey Twum’s header just before halftime equalized the score, marking her third goal of the tournament. In the second half, Mukarama Abdulai scored the game-winning goal for Ghana, assisted by Ophelia Amponsah.
