In seeking a resolution, Dr. Solace Asafo of the Seventh Day Adventist Church has proposed shifting elections to a Tuesday in November or December 2024, to accommodate all religious practices. This suggestion has been discussed with various religious and political leaders, including the National Chief Imam, who also recognizes the potential conflict for Muslims if elections were to fall on a Friday, their holy day.
