Otto Addo expressed disappointment in Ghana’s defensive display during their 1-1 draw against Niger in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Speaking after the match, he criticized the team’s performance in the final stages.
“I am not satisfied at all. We trained on set pieces and discussed potential scenarios, but the way we defended in the last 10 minutes was really poor,” Addo said. Despite controlling most of the game, he highlighted defensive lapses and missed opportunities to close gaps, especially after taking the lead.
