Dreams FC clinched a remarkable 2-1 victory against Academica Petroleos do Lobito in an away match during the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghanaian base club surged ahead early on courtesy of the young talent Abdul Aziz Issah, who netted a goal in the 10th minute. The first half concluded with both teams leveled at 1-1.
In the second half, Dreams FC emerged with renewed vigor. John Antwi and Ahoulou Avocevou struck in the 58th and 88th minute, respectively, bolstering their team’s lead. Although the Angolan side scored a goal in the 90th minute, Dreams FC managed to maintain their advantage until the final whistle.
It was a stellar performance by Dreams FC, marking an impressive debut in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Dreams FC is the first Ghanaian club side to win an away game in the CAF Confederations Cup group stages since King Faisal’s 2-1 win against AS Marsa in October 2005.
