A Bolt driver, known as Bright Kator, reportedly faced an assault from two women and a man. This incident occurred when he declined their request for an offline trip after they had canceled a ride. Bright had driven for 15 minutes to their pickup point, located between Botwe school junction and Lakeside Estate, and even waited after calling them.
The passengers eventually contacted him six minutes later, claiming he was at the wrong location. Although Bright managed to find them, they had already canceled the ride. Despite their insistence, he refused to take them, which led to the alleged assault.
