A video circulated on social media Friday night showing a house engulfed in flames, with reports initially claiming it belonged to Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah. Several sources seemed to confirm this. However, on Saturday morning, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) clarified the situation.
Assistant Divisional Officer Grade One (ADO1) Alex King Nartey, from the Public Affairs Department of GNFS, revealed that the house affected by the fire actually belongs to Appiah’s manager, Madam Samira, not the actress herself. According to Nartey, only a portion of the house, specifically the cinema room, was impacted.
