Dreams FC secured their inaugural victory in the CAF Confederation Cup by defeating the Nigerian side River United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

John Antwi opened the scoring in the 35th minute, and Abdul Aziz Issah doubled the lead in the 74th minute for Dreams FC. Despite River United pulling one back, Dreams FC managed to maintain their lead and secure the win.
Following two games played, Dreams FC currently holds the second position in the group.
