Richard Boadu, former Asante Kotoko captain, recently celebrated his marriage to longtime girlfriend Vincentia Badu in a vibrant ceremony at Gyinyase near Elysee Hotel in Kumasi. The event, attended by family, former teammates, and friends, marked a joyous union.

Boadu, taking advantage of a recent break, formalized his relationship with his wife. Despite his new marital status, the 25-year-old aims to maintain his stellar performance at his current club, Al Ahly Benghazi.
Well-known among Ghanaian football enthusiasts, Boadu boasts over 100 appearances in the Ghana Premier League and notably served as Kotoko’s substantive captain during the 2022/23 season.
The midfielder has made a striking impression since joining the Martyrs of February Stadium-based team, featuring in all 11 matches they’ve played this season.
