The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Scancom PLC (MTN Ghana) have agreed to extend their sponsorship of the FA Cup for an additional three seasons. This continuation follows their longstanding partnership, which began in the 2010-11 season and saw renewals in 2013, 2017, and 2020.
The MTN FA Cup is an exciting tournament that unites 18 Premier League clubs, 48 Division One League clubs, and 44 Division Two League clubs from the 10 Regional Football Associations, totaling 110 clubs. Initially, the Division One League and Regional Division Two League clubs compete in the Preliminary stage. The victors then advance to join the 18 Premier League clubs in the main competition during the Round of 64 stage.

The champion of the MTN FA Cup not only claims a prestigious trophy but also receives cash rewards and products from MTN. Moreover, the winner secures a spot to participate in the CAF Confederation Cup competition, adding a significant layer of achievement to their success in the tournament.
