Ghanaian Media Ready for Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

The Ghanaian media is set to promote para sports during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which will run from August 28 to September 8. This marks the 17th edition of the Paralympic Games, 64 years since they began in Rome in 1960.

The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Ghana announced that a team of para-athletes, including four women, will represent the country. Among them is Zinabu Issah, a strong contender in discus throw and javelin. Team Ghana will compete in five sports: wheelchair tennis, para-powerlifting, para-athletics, para-cycling, and para-taekwondo.
