Ghana’s team for the 2024 Paralympic Games has arrived in Paris, ready to compete in four disciplines: Para Athletics, Para Powerlifting, Para-Cycling, and Para Taekwondo. The Games, scheduled from August 28 to September 8, 2024, will see Ghana striving for success on the global stage.

To ensure the team is well-prepared, they have begun a pre-Games training camp in Gennevilliers from August 13-21, before moving to the Games Village. The contingent, led by Chef de Mission Henry Larbi, includes six athletes, three coaches, three athlete aides, a physiotherapist, an Accreditation Liaison Officer, and an NPC Secretary.
Additionally, four Para Cycling team members will join the Ghana Paralympic Team before August 26 after completing their training in Abuja, following a change from their original plan to train in the UK.
