The Ghanaian player’s first caution arrived in the 60th minute, and his second yellow card swiftly followed in the 75th minute after a foul on Harvey Elliot interrupted Liverpool’s potential counter-attack.
Due to the red card, Jordan Ayew will be serving a suspension, forcing him to sit out the upcoming game against Manchester City at the Etihad next week.
