Residents and business owners within the Western Accra area have been urged by the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) to consume water mindfully to reduce wastage and help improve supply to other areas.
Currently, water supply to some areas in the region — such as McCarthy Hill, Darkuman, Lapaz, and Gbawe — has been erratic or non-existent due to technical challenges at the GWCL’s Weija Treatment Plant.
