The Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) will from today, Monday 20th November 2023, begin a nationwide revenue mobilisation exercise to retrieve all funds owed by customers.

Disconnection teams and task forces in the various regions and district offices are on standby to carry out the exercise. In a statement issued by the GWCL and sighted on My Joy Online, the GWCL believes that the action is to improve the water supply service in the country.

It further added that any persons found to be engaging in criminal acts such as illegal connections, self–reconnections and the use of in-line boosters, will be arrested and duly prosecuted.
