Ghanaian swimmer Harry Stacey expressed disappointment with his performance in the men’s 100m freestyle Heat 4 at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Despite his hard work, Stacey finished 7th with a time of 51.12 seconds, falling 0.77 seconds short of advancing to the next round. Reflecting on the event, Stacey admitted, “It wasn’t my best, but I’m not too mad at the performance. I’m looking forward to my next Olympics.”

His mother, Eze Stacey, proudly watched from the stands at La Défense Arena, celebrating her son’s effort on the world stage. The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers from family, friends, and fans.
Though disappointed, Stacey remains optimistic and is already setting his sights on the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
