Hearts of Oak fans at Abrankese wore their hearts upon their sleeves in the 1-1 draw against Nations FC in Abrankese. Supporters were spotted with placards with all sorts of messages written on them to show how frustrated they were with the team, especially with the hierarchy.
Some supporters had a placard with the inscription, ‘We don’t need Nyaho’, Hearts keep sinking under Togbe Afede.
Some placards read, ‘Some board members are interfering with the coach’s job’, ‘A big club like Hearts, without C.E.O’.

On the vacant managerial role, some of the supporters wrote on their placards, ‘We need a competent local coach’, as Martin Koopman has not been replaced since he was sacked.
The Phobians expressed their views on the club’s inability to score goals as Hamza Issah is the only striker firing for Accra Hearts of Oak. ‘We need strikers,’ said the aggrieved Phobia fans.
