In a highly competitive field, Ghana’s Joselle Mensah competed in the women’s 50m freestyle event at the Olympics. Placed in Heat 6, Mensah swam a time of 26.81 seconds, securing a 4th place finish in her heat.
While her performance was commendable, it fell short of advancing her to the next round, as she did not rank in the top 16 overall. As a result, her journey in this year’s Olympics has come to an end.
