The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mike Oquaye Junior, has made a large financial donation to the Kwabenya Community Day Senior High School (SHS), in Accra.
The donation is aimed at providing extra-classes for some 570 final year students who are preparing for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
This forms part of efforts by stakeholders in the community to ensure that final year students are adequately prepared to write the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

In addition, Mr. Oquaye Junior gave the school a further donation to help move the canteen and address the issue of a trash dump near by.
After the donations, he visited the site of the refuse dump located close to the school’s canteen to ascertain the situation for himself.
Speaking at the donation, he assured the community of relocating the refuse dump and touched on the need to support final year students with adequate resources to thrive.

He added that “investing in our youth is investing in the future of our community.”
