Legon Cities FC has chosen the University of Ghana Stadium as their primary venue for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Renovated to meet international standards for the African Games, the stadium has already hosted notable events such as the Ghanaian FA Cup final last season and the WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship. Besides the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon Cities have also listed the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu as their alternative venue.

Previously, the club used El Wak Stadium as their main venue for the last two seasons but has now switched to the more favorable University of Ghana Stadium in Legon.
This change is part of a broader process where all 18 Premier League clubs have submitted their proposed main and alternative match venues following the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Club Licensing Regulations. The GFA will start the licensing process immediately, reviewing and inspecting the submitted venues to determine their approval status.
The GFA will soon announce the inspection schedule and the status of all submitted venues. Clubs, including Legon Cities, will be notified of any necessary adjustments according to the GFA Stadium Regulations before the scheduled inspections, which will take place from August 8 to 21, 2024.
