The movie “A Country Called Ghana” by popular Ghanaian Actor and Producer, Kojo Nkansah, known in showbiz as Lil Win has earned multiple nominations at a number of international awards.
The movie has been nominated at the 2024 Black Star International Film Festival (BSIFF) for the reputable Black Star Movie of the Year category.
“A Country Called Ghana” has also received nominations for the New Zealand International Film Festival and the IMO International Film Festival.
The movie premiered in Accra at the National Theatre on Friday, May 17, 2024 has garnered international interest, and a deal for worldwide theatre distribution has been inked.
The movie casted some of the big names in both the Ghanaian and Nigerian film industry, and will also be screened at the Nollywood Film Festival.
The movie which was directed by Frank Fiifi Gharbin and executively produced by Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, is a Ghana-Nigeria collaboration, that features some of the finest actors and actresses from the two countries.
The cast include Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awrum, Victor, Osuagwu, Tony Hans, Paa George, Mimi Yankson, Michael Afrane and Lilwin himself.
