The office of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Madina Constituency, Francis-Xavier Sosu was yesterday broken into by some unidentified individuals who stole his mobile phone and work laptop.
The robbers, according to reports, escaped with the items through the windows after failing to break into his inner office.
At the moment, the MP’s private security have been taken in for questioning and are assisting with investigations at the Madina Divisional Police Command.
In a Facebook post this morning, the MP announced that he has managed to successfully gain access to his google accounts, contacts and social media pages.

“I have recovered my gmail account following the theft of my phone and official HP laptop yesterday,” the first part of the post read.
However, the process and experience, he said was tough and distressing.
“It was traumatic because I lost a great deal of vital data from both devices.”
“My world was almost shut yesterday but Grace was sufficient,” the MP added.
He is currently calling for anyone with useful information that could help the police in their ongoing investigations to recover his office computer and iPhone to volunteer for an undisclosed reward.
