John Mahama, the former President, has made it clear that should the National Democratic Congress (NDC) return to power, his appointees will be expected to uphold the principle of modesty. He even went as far as to say that luxury cars would not be allowed under his administration if he is re-elected.

Currently, Mahama is traveling through the Bono East Region as part of his ‘Building Ghana Tour.’ During a recent weekend, he strongly emphasized the need for his appointees to be accountable. He expressed that there’s no room for arrogance in his potential NDC Government, especially considering the current hardships faced by the public.

He stressed that honesty and respect for public trust and truth will be the key features of his administration. He stated that ministers must be ready to account for their actions, as they hold public trust. He also voiced out that, the “ used propaganda and lies, and also painted them as incompetence bunch of people”
